BAIJIU COCKTAIL COMPETITION℠
The Baijiu Cocktail Competition℠ is a dedicated platform aimed at providing promotional services that will drive awareness of baijiu and its use in mixology among consumers and the spirits industry. Baijiu is uniquely positioned to become the new frontier of mixology and with a plethora of sub-categories that offer a wide range of taste options, the possibilities for cocktail creation are endless. While baijiu’s expansiveness gives mixologists access to a whole new set of tools, its complex taste profile, cultivated over thousands of years of production, requires serious passion and a skilled hand to incorporate effectively. Participants in the BCC will not only learn about the intricacies of this unique spirit, but through competition, will expand the creative boundaries of their craft.
Shui Jing Fang baijiu, from China’s first distillery, is proud to be the title sponsor for the first annual Baijiu Cocktail Competition and bring baijiu into the new and exciting world of cocktails! This competition will test the abilities of innovative mixologists from around California to create unique cocktails with the world’s most consumed spirit. Contestants will compete in two rounds of cocktail creation to be judged by our panel of baijiu and industry experts. This year’s winner will take home a cash prize of $1,000 along with the BCC trophy. The top two contestants will also receive an ultra-rare bottle of Shui Jing Fang’s Scholar’s Edition baijiu.
